The Course

Brookmeadow Country Club is a championship 18-hole public golf course located in Canton, MA. This well-maintained par-72 layout, designed in 1966 by architect Sam Mitchell in partnership with founder, Frank Simoni, covers approximately 6,637 yards and features bent grass fairways and greens that provide both challenge and playability for golfers of all skill levels.

Whether you’re here for a quick round or a full day with friends, Brookmeadow delivers an exceptional experience from the first tee to the final putt.

Front Nine

The front nine at Brookmeadow features a well-kept layout where fairways require accuracy off the tee, especially near the greens.
Hole 1
Par 4
A demanding opener with fairway bunkers on each side influencing tee-shot strategy. An offset green with surrounding bunkering favors a left-to-right approach.

Hole 2
Par 4
A precise left-to-right tee shot over or around trees is key to split fescue. Good positioning leaves a long approach that must challenge the left bunker to avoid a difficult uphill pitch.

Hole 3
Par 4
The wide fairway obscures the need to stay left off the tee. A good tee shot leaves a short, unobstructed approach into a severely sloped green that rewards keeping the ball below the hole.

Hole 4
Par 3
The first of the Par 3’s is characterized by its difficult green complex. The back to front slope tiered right side of the green can complicate pitches and lag putts.

Hole 5
Par 4
A protruding tree line right forces tee shots left. Short approaches must avoid the bunker and steep runoff on the right side of the green.

Hole 6
Par 3
Protected by water and bunkers on the left and short sides, this mid-length Par 3 can be a scoring opportunity for those able to hit the green in regulation.

Hole 7
Par 4
This welcoming fairway rewards distance if hazards on each side are avoided. Approach shots must negotiate greenside bunkers on the right and a creeping tributary on the left.

Hole 8
Par 5
This short Par 5 is reachable in two, but bunkers left, a sandy waste area right, and a pot bunker short of the green can turn this scoring opportunity into a difficult save with a small mistake.

Hole 9
Par 5
A three-shot hole with waste area right and woods left. The crossing tributary discourages long attempts at reaching this green.

Back Nine

The back nine opens up a bit more with additional space, including longer holes and a more forgiving layout that balances the front’s difficulty while still offering solid playability for players of all skill levels.
Hole 10
Par 4
Right-to-left tee shots suit the dogleg shape of the back nine’s opener. The mid-iron approach must avoid the right greenside bunker and the steep drop-offs.

Hole 11
Par 3
Tee shots must split bunkers flanking the green’s approach, but the major hurdles of the longest Par 3 end there. A good long iron or metal can make this a stress-free par.

Hole 12
Par 5
A birdie chance only if the tee shot finds the fairway. Penalty area left and trees right warrant attention from tee to green.

Hole 13
Par 4
The sloped green on this short Par 4 rewards being below the hole, and a steep drop-off beyond back hole locations forces players to challenge the abutting Neponset River.
