Is there a minimum number of guests required?

There is a minimum only on Saturday evenings, April through October. The minimum is 150 guests.

Do you have a wedding reception package?
We do have a wedding reception package. We offer the utmost convenience in planning and the options to make your day truly unique. Your entire wedding plan is customized to meet your exact requirements. We assist you every step of the way to be certain that your wedding day is truly yours.

Can I extend my reception?
There is always an option for an additional hour. Arrangements for this hour must be made two weeks prior to your event.

Do you handle all bar arrangements?
We have a full liquor license and are insured. We have several options for your bar arrangements; from a consumption total, to a pre-arranged per-person amount, to a fixed dollar amount. We also can provide you with a champagne or wine toast, as well as special wines ordered from our wine list.

If I have a ceremony on site, is there a rehearsal, and what is the fee?
A one hour rehearsal is included in the ceremony fee. The rehearsal is usually on the Thursday evening before the wedding. This is coordinated with the Event Manager

Is there an off season rate?
There are off season rates in November, January, February and March

What is the duty of the Event Manager?
The Event Manager will help coordinate your wedding plans and provide suggestions for vendor services associated with Gatherings. The Event Manager will be the liaison between the caterer, client and other vendors. They will also manage all bar services, oversee maintenance of Gatherings and Brookmeadow Country Club, provide hostess/host services for guests and work closely with the caterer to maintain the timeline for the day. The Event Manager will be available throughout the year to answer questions and will meet with you and your caterer for a final meeting to review every detail of your wedding at Gatherings.
